The second round of the Waterdown men's fastball league started yesterday 
seeing the Hamilton Hawks play the Waterdown Coyotes. The game was close 
all the way through. The Coyotes opened the scoring in the fourth with a 
man on first a slow roller to third was thrown away into right field. the 
runner on his horse scored form first to put the Coyotes up by one.
       The Hawks hit the ball hard all day but couldn't find the gaps. 
Coyetes pitcher Kevin Cluggson was mixing his pitches well and keeping the 
Hawks off the board. The bottom of the sixth the Hawks clawed their way 
back. Ken Dellontinville singled to center, pass ball over to second and 
Bryan Woodhouse moved him over to third. Rob O'Neill hit the first pitch he 
saw to center to score pinch runner Chris Finlay. Ball game tied going into 
the seventh
       Bottom of the seventh Steve Gillis walked, Lance Winn bunts him over 
to second, pass ball Gillis to third and Derek Wardell hit a rocket past 
third to score the winning run. Duane Singer pitched a gem picking up the 
win. Next game is Monday Sept. 20 at 8pm in Millgrove
