Hamilton, ON

The Hawks won their second round matchup with the waterdown Coyotes 2 games 
to none. A great defensive game by the Hawks helped them to a 3-1 victory 
Monday night.

             The Hawks opened the scoring in the top of the second inning 
when Lance Winn doubledto center, pass ball to third. Duane singer then 
walked. Ken Dellontinville hit into a fielder's choice to score Winn.

            Top of four the Hawks scored again with Chris Finlay hitting a 
double, Bryan woodhouse sacrificing him to third and Steve Gillis doubled 
Finlay in. The Coyetes got one back in their half but that's all they could 
muster off of winning pitcher Duane Singer, Rob O'Neill added a sacrifice 
fly to round out the Hawks scoring.

           Next up for the Hawks are the Waterdown Hammer in the finals 
that start Friday, September 24 at 8pm in Millgrover. Stay tuned for more 
Hawks fastball action.
