Bridges earns second 'Player of the week' nod

SUMMERSIDE - Scott Bridges of the 2004 league champion Summerside Greco 
Twins is the final 2004 Source for Sports/Alberton Sports 'Player of the 
Week' for the period Sept 24-26.

Bridges pitched in four of his team's five games during the league 
championship tournament held this past weekend at VIV Field in Summerside. 
He earned tournament MVP honours for his dominating work.

This included out working Mitch Hardy in the championship final

The hard thrower went 27 and two-thirds innings with a 3-1 record (the 
Twins finished at 3-2 overall including semi and the final). He gave up 32 
hits, 10 runs for a 2.53 ERA (Earned run average) but was the reason the 
Twins were able to regroup after losing two key players on Sunday due to 
other commitments and win the league championship, with a squad that at 
times during the season had trouble getting nine players to show up.
