Orillia Parks & Recreation, Casino Rama and the World Series of Fastball 
Organizing Committee are very pleased to announce that for the 8th straight 
year, some of the greatest fast-pitch softball players in the World will 
invade the city of Orillia to compete at the annual Casino Rama World 
Series of Fastball.  The 2005 edition of the Tournament will take place at 
Kitchener Park, in Orillia on the weekend of July 15, 16, 17, 2005.

The line-up of teams that will be competing at the 2005 Tournament includes 
some of the best teams in the World.  This year’s line-up of teams will 
continue the tradition in Orillia of having one the top tournament line-ups 
of any of the major tournaments.  We are proud to announce the 2005 Casino 
Rama World Series of Fastball competing teams:

Broken Bow (Nebraska) – 2004 ISC World Champions
County Materials (Wisconsin) – Finalists @ 2004 ISC World Championships / 
2003 & 2004 Casino Rama Champions
Calgary Diamonds (Alberta) – 3rd place @ 2004 ISC World Championships
The Farm Tavern (Wisconsin) – 5th place @ 2004 ISC World Championships
Midland Explorers (Michigan) – 8th place @ 2004 ISC World Championships
Quaker Riversharks (Pennsylvania) – 11th place @ 2004 ISC World Championships
St. Thomas (Ontario)  -  Host team for the 2005 Canadian Championships
Kitchener Hallman Twins (Ontario) – Host team for the 2006 ISC Championships

The tournament will begin on Friday, July 15, 2005 with games at 5:00PM, 
7:00PM and 9:00PM.  Round Robin games will continue through Saturday 
morning and into early afternoon.  We are planning on having a local 
All-star game in the middle of the day on Saturday, with the tournament 
Play-off round beginning right after the All-star game.  The play-off round 
will continue on Sunday morning with the Quarter and Semi finals.  The 
Championship game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM on Sunday, July 17.

Ticket Prices will remain the same as in 2004:

Unlimited Weekend Pass (purchased in Advance)  -  $20.00
Unlimited Weekend Pass (purchased At the gate)  -  $25.00
2-Day Pass (Purchased at the Gate)  -  $20.00
Friday Night Pass                                         -           $ 6.00
Saturday – Full Day Pass                        -        $12.00
Saturday Evening (after 5:00PM)            -        $6.00
Sunday – Full Day Pass                           -        $10.00
Sunday – Championship Game               -        $6.00
Children 14 and under are admitted free, when accompanied by an adult.

We will be sending out a tournament update to the Casino Rama World Series 
of Fastball mailing list with a special ticket offer.  If you are not 
currently on the mailing list please send me an email with your entire 
mailing list and we would be happy to include you on it.

In the very near future we will be announcing the tournament schedule, 
updating the tournament web-site and announcing a few other new items 
relating to the 2005 Tournament.  Please keep checking Al’s list and our 
tournament website throughout the next few weeks.

Year and I look forward to seeing everyone on a ball diamond next year.
