Top four finalists found at men’s NPC
Wednesday December 29th

The top four finalists have been found for the New Zealand Community Trust 
men’s National Provincial Cup at International Stadium in Rotorua.

Wellington has qualified for the final series in the number one spot on the 
back of their unbeaten run at the tournament. That record continued today 
as they defeated Western Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay.

Hutt Valley have finished in second spot despite an upset loss today 
against Counties Manukau who round out the top four along with Hawkes Bay.

Early tomorrow morning top qualifiers Wellington will playoff against Hutt 
Valley with the winner of that game taking direct entry through to the 
final at 2pm.

Also playing off tomorrow morning will be the third and fourth qualifiers 
Counties Manukau and Hawkes Bay in a winner take all match. The winner will 
continue in their quest for the title while the looser will be eliminated.
