The Oshawa City and District Softball Association, commencing it's 79th 
year of operation, is holding its first meeting of the year at Durham College.

The meeting will be this Saturday January 8, 2005 at 10 am in Durham 
College's board room SW 117, 2000 Simcoe Street North ( of Taunton Road ). 
Park on the left side of the southern most building's main entrance.

Additions to the OCDSA so far this year are  Barry Higgins'  Brampton 
Midgets and Wayne Wells' Cobourg Intermediates. The League could grow to 18 
teams if not more, for the 2005 season.

This is an affiliation meeting and all teams wishing to affiliate should do 
so at this meeting. Any prospective Midget, Junior or Intermediate teams 
are welcome to this meeting and if they want to affiliate be prepared to 
put forward a presentation at this time.

It is mandatory that all present and prospective teams have a 
representative in attendance.

There will be elections at this meeting as President, Ken Leonard and 
Treasurer, Keith Fleming are stepping down from their present positions 
after years of performing superbly for the OCDSA.  If anyone wants to stand 
for a position on the Executive, do so at this meeting.

Affiliation fees, parks, maps etc. would be very helpful to the Executive 
if they could be produced at this time to secure commitments for the 2005 
season.
