Parklands ChCh United 4 - Nelson 3,Sydenham Kereru 18 - Royals

Royals 16 - Marlborough 0, Sydenham Kereru 6 - Keas 0, PCU 13
- Albion0,
Sydenham Kereru 10 - Papanui 4, Keas 13 - Marlborough 7

Southland were forced to withdraw from thetournament because
their only
pitcher Sheree Cartwright cut her finger and was unable to play.
This has left two unbeaten teams - PCU and Sydenham Kereru.

It appears that Nelson will join these twoteams in the semi finals

but the game between Papanui A and Royals will produce the other
semifinalist.

Probably the best game of the day was between PCU and Nelson
in which
PCU came out the winners 4 - 3 in a tie breaker.
The PCU team is a young one with player Rhonda Hira contributing
veryimpressively.
