[Alsfastball] AIMS EHS & Kokolishi split double header

Game 1:

For AIMS EHS the Dutch competition finally started after rain outs the last 
two weekend. With temperatures up to 18 Celsius and a bright blue sky, 
conditions were perfect to play ball. EHS started well with two runs in the 
third inning when Anthony Beaumont who reached on a hit by pitch scored on 
a wild throw from the third baseman to first which ended up all the way in 
right field. Etiënne Meijer who reached second base on the same error 
scored on a hard line drive to center field by first baseman Milton 
Gilbert. Two more runs were added in the sixth inning on a big line drive 
homerun by Jeffry Visser that also scored Ciro Ricardo.

Pitching for AIMS EHS was good old 46 year old Canadian (Richmond Hill, ON) 
hurler Glen Moreland. The strong all Antillian line up from Kokolishi only 
reached base twice on a lucky infield hit by Lionel Emerencia and a solo 
homerun by Gerald Dunlop

Game 2:

Game two started desastrous for AIMS EHS. With one out in the first inning, 
Kokolishi hit back to back homeruns by Gerald Dunlop and Julius Veeris. 
Pitcher Erik Zomerdijk was leaving his pitches too high in the strike zone 
and the boys from The Hague took advantage of that scoring another run in 
the third on yet another big homerun by Julius Veeris. Two more homeruns by 
Edson la Croes and Anthony Hooi did the job for Kokolishi. They scored 7 
runs on homeruns while AIMS EHS efforts all stranded in grounders and fly 
balls. The only memorable offensive action was a solo homerun by Milton 
Gilbert in the fourth inning.
