[Alsfastball] AIMS EHS beats TIW Survivors

With all rained out games being played today and with a shortage of umpires 
due to several reasons we were only able to play one game today. The second 
game of the scheduled double header will be played on Wednesday night May 
18th.

Game 1:

AIMS EHS started aggresive in the first game with the first run scored in 
the first inning by Erik Vrugt who reached base on a double to left field 
and was hit home by Etiënne Meijer. EHS scored two more runs in the second 
by Enrique Javier and Anthony Beaumont on a single by Etiënne Meijer. After 
the three runs in the first part of the game the rest of the hits were 
scattered and too many runners were left on base. TIW Survivors scored one 
run in the second after the runner should have been called out on a double 
play that everybody saw except the umpire. They scored two more on two 
errors in the third.

The international tie-breaker came in play when Glen Moreland shut down the 
side and AIMS EHS could not convert the changes they had. In the 
tie-breaker with two outs TIW put Enrique Javier on base with an 
intentional walk and pinch hitter Erik Zomerdijk hit a single up the middle 
which scored Ciro Ricardo. Both Javier and Zomerdijk scored on a double by 
Anthony Beaumont
