Ontario's Kobras dominate Bantam Girls

Eastern Canadian ch'ship awards

ALBERTON - The Kingston Kobras are heading back to Ontario with an 
arm load of hardware, including the 2005 Tignish Credit Union Bantam 
Girls Eastern Canadian Championship, and the bulk of the individual 
awards hardware Sunday.

They weren't the only ones with multiple awards as Quebec No. One Sud 
Ouest Dragons, Quebec No. Two and bronze medallists L'Express du 
Laval and the Judique Celidh Royals of Nova Scotia walked away with 
two bantam girls all star awards each.

The Kobras (Ont. No. Two) walked away with awards for top pitcher 
round robin and MVP toyurnament (Chelsey Schoenfeldt), top batter 
(Whitney Desarmia), all star pitcher (Chelsey Schoenfeldt), first 
base (Amelia Keech) and third base (Bailey Gottlieb)..

West Prince Cavendish Produce Athletics Ashtin Arsenault took home 
the all star award for second base as the lone Island player selected 
to the team.
