The El Segundo Rounders won their fourth game without a loss, 7-0,
against Country Club Villa, of California and are one of eight
remaining unbeaten teams at the ASA "C" Nationals at Stockton, CA.

Linnell Culver drove in Erik Geierman in the first inning, while
Gerald Pyle hit a solo shot in the fourth. In the sixth, the Rounders
capitalized on an error, with consecutive two run singles by Erik
Geierman, and Michael "Spanky" Thomas.  Both Thomas and Geierman had
three hits and two runs batted in in the contest. Catcher Donald
Younger added an RBI single for the final 7-0 score.  Meanwhile,
Rounder pitcher Mitch Mendenhall allowed just three hits, striking out
four and walking none for the win, in what many called his finest
outing of the year.
