TOP PLAYER AWARDS The top players in the
preliminary Round as announced this weekend were:
Pitcher Frank Cox of the host St. Thomas
Evergreen Centennials led the tournament with a
0.31 ERA in 22.2 innings with 33 Ks, allowing
only 1 earned run.3; Jarvis Merchants shortstop
Ian Fehrman, led the tourney in batting with a
sterling .550 average, 9 RBIs and 11 hits. The
Most Valuable Player is Jody Eidt, lead-off
batter and versatile infield for the 1st place
Kitchener Hallman Twins, was tied for 4th in RBIs
and 2nd in HRs with a batting average of .455,
4th highest in the tourney. Congratulations
