Hi Al,  just thought I would give you the wrap up to our season.  Quite a 
summer for our guys down this way.

Union Storm
Season Summary

We completed a sweep of Glencoe Tuesday giving us the playoff and league 
title in 2005.
Playoffs

Round 1 - we beat Morpeth 2 games to none.  Dan Beecroft picked up both wins.

Round 2 - Highgate was our next victim.  We eliminated them 3 games to 
1.  Beecroft pitched all 4 games.

Round 3 - A 3 game sweep of Glencoe.  Highlighted by great help from our 
junior aged players, Kevin Lynch and Ryan Cummings.  Ryan threw his best 
game as a Union Storm member in game 2 striking out 11 on way to a 2 hit 
4-1 win.  Beecroft recorded the other 2 wins as we fought back to win game 
1 and 3 in the bottom of the 7th.

During the playoffs different players had big nights at the plate, but our 
pitching and defence kept us in every game.

Overall season record was 34-7 including a 22-6 league record, 4-0 winning 
the Springfield tourney and 8-1 during the playoffs.

A few other Union Storm members had the pleasure of winning the Canadians 
as members of the St. Thomas Evergreen Centennials.  Coaches - Tom Edie, 
Dan Denniss, pitcher - Dan Beecroft, Outfielders - Mark Coleman, Troy Rick, 
and Kevin Lynch, outfielder/3B - Chris Payne, 2B - Tyler Lessard, OF/C - 
Chris Wismer

All and All a very memorable year as we accomplished every goal we set in 
February.
