LORDS FASTBALL KRISTY KELLY CAPTURES OCAA BATTING TITLE



Durham Lords third year shortstop Kristy Kelly (3rd Year Nursing) finished 
the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) regular season with a 
batting average of .467, to lead the entire league.



Kristy dominated the Lords and OCAA box scores every game this year, as is 
evident by her final statistics.  She finished in the top three across the 
province, of every major offensive category.



Along with her league leading .467 average, she finished second in runs 
batted in with 10 and runs scored with 12.  Kristy also finished third in 
hits with 14.



Kristy becomes the third Durham Lord to capture the OCAA batting title in 
school history. (Kim Blakely –    ’91-’92, Melissa Pigeau – ’00-’01)
