The Dolan & Murphy Shamrocks finished the '05 season

The Dolan & Murphy Shamrocks finished the '05 season with a record of
40-21.

It was great year for the Shamrocks even though their bats went cold at the 
world tournament were they went 1-3.  The Shamrocks won the very 
competitive, Dick Tracy tournament in Rockford, Il. and the Northern 
Illinois Fastball Conference (12-0).  The Shamrocks also faired well at the 
Farm Tournament in Madison going 3-1.  The Shamrocks have already retained 
the services of Argentinean pitcher, Juan Pottolichio for the '06 
season.  Pitchers, Jason iuli and Tim Murphy have also agreed to come back.

Tommy Crouch led the Shamrocks in 5 different categories including Hits 
(51), Batting Average(.350), On Base Average (.403), Slugging (.558) and 
Doubles (14).

Jarod Gutesha hit .325, led the team with 7HR'snd also led the team with 42RBI.

David Perkins hit .299 and led the team in stolen bases (10) and Triples (7).

Luis Saldena hit .320 and Brian Tobin led the team in walks (18). Both did 
a tremendous job of handling a young pitching staff.

Juan Pottolichio was 20-12 with a 2.43 ERA, Jason iuli was 13-4  with a 
3.50 ERA and Tim Murphy was 8-4.
