The Vancouver Grey Sox are pleased to announce the signing of infielder / 
outfielder Pat Mackintosh to bolster the team's line up in its attempt to 
qualify for the 2006 Softball Canada National Championship to be held in 
late August in Prince George, BC.

Mackintosh a resident of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and member of the Softball 
Canada National Team talent pool,  is regarded as a proven top quality 
senior mens fastpitch player, having most recently competed with the 
Saskatoon Aspen Interiors Black Sox in 2005.  In 2004 Pat was a member of 
the National Champion Black Sox, along with helping the Calgary Smokers to 
a 3rd place finish at the ISC World Tournament.  Pat is signed for the 
majority of the 2006 season with the newly formed Owen Sound, Ontario squad.

Grey Sox Field Manager, John Stuart commented on the signing.  Adding a 
quality individual and proven top notch player such as Pat, provides us 
with the very important depth that we will require to challenge many of the 
top teams, and we look forward to him joining the Grey Sox organization in 
2006.
