Black Sox to face Australia in  Commonwealth Championship final
Sunday January 29th 2006

Trans Tasman rivalry will be to the fore this afternoon in Melbourne when 
the New Zealand Community Trust Black Sox take on Australia in the final of 
the Commonwealth Championship.

Australia has won their way through to the final with a hard fought 3-1 
victory over Samoa earlier this afternoon. The NZCT Black Sox secured their 
final spot last night in the first semi final when they beat Samoa 6-1.

During the round robin stages of the championship the world champion NZCT 
Black Sox played Australia just once and came away with a come from behind 
8-5 victory.

The final this afternoon will start at 5.30pm (NZ time).
