Orillia, Ontario, Canada

 

After a period of a little uncertainty I am very pleased to announce
that the 9th edition of the annual Casino Rama World Series of
Fastball will again take place in the city of Orillia, Ontario,
Canada.  The date for the 2006 edition of the tournament will
be Friday, July 14th to Sunday, July 16th and the tournament
will again be played at Kitchener Park.  For those of you that
have not yet been able to make the trip to the tournament, Kitchener
Park is located right on the shores of Lake Simcoe in the heart
of Ontario cottage country.

 

Unfortunately, after creating the junior division of the Casino
Rama World Series of Fastball in 2005, we have had some issues
come up that we have been unable to resolve.  So for that reason
we have made the decision to suspend the operation of the junior
division for 2006.  Our plans are to add the junior division
back into the tournament in the future.

 

The Casino Rama World Series of Fastball has become one of the
most sought after tournament titles of the annual major fastball
tournament seasons.  In past years, we have been successful in
fielding some of the best and most competitive line up of teams
at any of the major tournaments.  We feel that we have again
accomplished that for the 2006 tournament.  Over the next few
of weeks, we will be announcing the teams and rosters that will
be competing at the 9th Annual Casino Rama World Series of Fastball.

 

The total Prize Purse for 2006 will again be $15,000.00, with
the championship team guaranteed to collect at least $5,000.00.
 We will also again be awarding the members of the championship
team with the Casino Rama World Series of Fastball watches.

 

2006 TICKET PRICES

Full Weekend Tournament Pass  -  $25.00

2-Day (Saturday & Sunday Pass)  -  $20.00 available at the gate
only

Individual Day Passes are available at the gate only

Friday  -  $7.00  /  Saturday  -  $  15.00  /  Sunday  -  $12.00

 

Within the next few weeks I will be sending out a special ticket
offer to all the members of the Casino Rama World Series of Fastball
mailing list.  If you are not already a member of the mailing
list and you would be like to be included on it please send me
an email and include either a mailing address or your email address.
 

 

The weekend tournament passes will be available to purchase at
select locations around Orillia after May 1st, 2006 or from various
organizing committee members while they are visiting other tournaments.
