June 10-12, 2006



Due to park rehabs, NASCAR, Spring Break and Little League, the
popular Spring Swing Fastpitch Weekend has been transformed into
the SUMMER SLAM Fastpitch Weekend. 


The round robin tourney will take place in America's Fastest
Growing Community, Summerlin, at the base of Red Rock National
Park in the Willows Community. This years' event will take place
June 10-12 on two fields and will be able to accomodate 12 teams
total, six A/B and six C teams. Current plans are for a 5 game
guarantee for $350.00. 


David Bell, formally of the Las Vegas Hitmen and KHT Pumpers
currently with the Long Beach Black Sox is the tourney director.
The weekend will be sanctioned by three associations and act
as a qualifier for two of the three's National Tournaments. Rosters
must be filled out prior to arrival.


Concessions & t-shirts will be sold with the games being played
in a park like setting complete with community swimming pool
and several play areas for the younger kids. Teams will play
a minimum of one double-header, possibly two in their five game
set. Best record in division will determine each division's champion.
