to score a single run. Kaila Holtz (North Vancouver, BC) picked
up her second win of the tournament giving up 2 runs on 3 hits

Lichty (Guelph, ON) doubled scoring two more runs with Rachel
Schill (Kitchener, ON) capping the inning driving in Lichty giving
Canada a 7 run lead heading into the bottom of the inning. Lawrie
closed out the game for Canada and picked up the save allowing
no hits and striking out 4 in one and two-thirds innings of work.

The Senior Women's National Team will need a win against the
Chinese Taipei in order to earn a playoff berth.

In other Canada Cup action, the Canadian Elite Team faced the
Schutt Hurricanes in a bid to secure a berth in the playoff round.

a complete game for Canada and picked up the win allowing only
