World Cup Kicks Off Today

 

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – With the first pitch of the World Cup
ofSoftball presented by Kellogg’s FrostedFlakes just hours away,
the anticipation is at a high as the world’sbest gather in Oklahoma
Cityfor an exciting five days of softball. Team USAis scheduled
to take on Great Britain at 6:30 (CT) for the teams’first ever
meeting at the World Cup. Canadameets Japan at 8 p.m. (CT)on
Field 4 and Australiafaces Chinaon the stadium field at 8:30
p.m. Live “Play-by-Play” for all gamesfrom the World Cup can
be found on the USA Softball website atwww.usasoftball.com 

 

General admission tickets are still available for only $10 per
sessionand can be purchased at stadium or at the ASA Hall of
Fame Gift Shop. 

 

ESPN networks are the exclusive domestic home of the World Cup
ofSoftball and will feature over 12 hours of live coverage on
ESPN and ESPN2highlighted by multiple prime time windows including
the Championship Game onMonday, July 17 at 8 p.m. CT. All broadcasts
will be broadcast in HD andavailable on the respective ESPN HD
