The Castro Concrete Softball Club of Austin Texas claimed the
2006 Texas Men's State Fastpitch Championship in College Station
this past weekend . The Castro Team went undefeated 5-0 behind
the strong pitching of Abel Melendez the State's Most Valuable
Player , Melendez was helped  by consistent  hitting and solid
defense . Next stop the "B" Nationals in Killeen Texas .
