LEARN TO PLAY SOFTBALL, HAVE FUN, AND WIN PRIZES WITH SOFTBALL
ONTARIO!

On Sunday August 13, 2006, Softball Ontario is holding a FREE
Learn to Play Softball Clinic at the Midget Girls Canadian Fast
Pitch Championships in Guelph. With the help of Softball Canada
and the Organizing Committee of the tournament, the Learn to
Play Clinic takes place between the final medal games of the
tournament. Aimed at children between the ages of 4 to 8, the
Learn to Play clinic is designed to be a young person’s introduction
to the sport of softball.

The clinic is based on the Parmalat Learn to Play program, and
the emphasis is on FUN, ACTION and a POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE. The
program provides children with maximum opportunity to practice
the skills necessary to excel in the game of Softball.

Held at the Exhibition Softball Enclosure in Guelph, the Learn
to Play clinic is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM on August 13,
2006 and last for one hour. Parents are encouraged to join their
children at the clinic so that they will be able to continue
to work on their children’s softball skills well beyond the end
of the clinic.

All children participating in the clinic will receive gifts from
Softball Ontario and Softball Canada, including a free T-Shirt.
After the clinic Softball Ontario will hold a draw, and one
lucky participant will win a Worth Wicked Pro Series Softball
Glove.

Registration for the clinics is limited to 100 children, so sign
up today! Contact Lisa Crompton at lcrompton at softballontario.ca
or (416) 426-7150 to register. Registration forms are available
