Ontario Amateur Softball Association News

The OASA is pleased to announce the results of elections of Executive
members held November 18 at the Best Western in Oshawa.

Returning for another term are President Dave Reynolds, Napanee,
Executive Vice-President Larry Sherwin, Cobourg, Vice-President
Paddy Fitzgerald-Nolan, Treasurer Bob Abbot, Uxbridge, Secretary
Christine Patenaude, Toanche, Members at Large Bruce Young, Waterloo,
Scott Tuttle, Cobourg.

Gary Wren of St. Thomas returns as a Vice-President.
New to the Executive are: Jeff Geddes of Ridgetown, Roy Patenaude
of Toanche, Sylvia Ryan of Whitby and George Ryder of Port Dover.

Rounding out the Executive are NSA Representative Peter Handley
of North Bay, Advisory Council Representative Bob Whitfield of
Bath and Immediate Past President David Cleugh of Campbellford.
Mary Myers was reappointed as Registrar.

Honourary President Ron Taylor of Havelock and Honourary Vice-President
Gary Waugh of Woodstock were introduced to the membership. Ron
and Gary have both been long time contributors to the game and
to the OASA and both will continue to be active within the program.
Thanks to Bill DeHaan of New Hamburg and Ken Cole of Churchill
for their contributions to the OASA during the past 2 years in
their Honourary roles.

The OASA is pleased to announce that it was able to maintain
the insurance premiums at the 2006 levels. Please contact the
Insurance Coordinator, Ron Taylor for your 2007 softball insurance
needs (www.oasa.ca).
