Drill of the Week from ChampionshipFastpitch.com

Name: Slap Game
Type: Team Defense

Position your team in their normal slap defense (see the question
of the week for slap defense suggestions). 

Utilize your subs as slappers by having them line up behind homeplate
(each with a bat and a helmet). Place a tee on top of homeplate
and let your subs, one at a time, attack a ball sitting atop
the tee, as a slapper. 

Your defense should work quickly and efficiently to throw out
the slapping hitter before she safely reaches base.

Variations:
Allow for bunting, as well as slapping.

Scoring:
1 point for each base gained by the offense / 1 point for each
out made 

Challenge your Defense: 2 points for each base gained by the
offense.
