BECOME A LEARN TO COACH CLINIC INSTRUCTOR FOR SOFTBALL ONTARIO!

NORTH YORK, ONTARIO - Softball Ontario is proud to announce the
launch of the NCCP recognized Learn to Coach Clinic and Instructor
Training Clinic for 2007.  The Instructor Training Clinic takes
place on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Banbury Heights School
in Brantford, ON.  Softball Ontario invites you to join us in
this new and exciting step in the development of softball in
Ontario through Competency Based Education Training (CEBT) and
the NEW NCCP.

Learn to Coach Clinics (also known as Community Sport-Initiation)
allow recreational, house league and beginner coaches to become
recognized as Trained Coaches by the NCCP.  Softball Ontario
is providing up to twenty (20) free Learn to Coach Clinics across
the province in 2007.  

Softball Ontario would like to invite you to attend the Instructor
Training Clinic free of charge to become one of our future Clinic
Facilitator/Instructors.  Travel (mileage) and accommodations
will be provided by Softball Ontario for those who qualify. 
Becoming a Learn to Coach Clinic Facilitator/Instructor is a
great opportunity for you to improve softball in your area!

To apply to attend the free Instructor Training Clinic, send
your softball resume via fax to (416) 426-7368 or via email to
lcrompton at softballontario.ca by 12:00 PM on January 18, 2007.
 Successful applications will:

have a good knowledge of the basic skills and techniques of the
game of softball
commit to instruct a minimum of two (2) Learn to Coach Clinics
between March and May 2007
possess the ability to analyze basic skills
have the ability to work with other instructors in presenting
the clinic material
are able to instruct and communicate effectively with adults
