The Australian Open Women’s team, Aussie Spirit, won the final
game of the Sydney series of the China Australia Challenge at
Blacktown Olympic Park tonight.

win 2-1.

In the top of the fourth innings, Kerry Wyborn (NSW) helped Australia
get their first run on the board, hitting a single

to left field, scoring her team mate Sandra Allen (Qld).

Tracey Mosley (Qld) was hit by a pitched delivered by China’s
Lan Wang and was awarded base. Mosley scored Australia’s second
run after Danielle Stewart (Qld) scored a double to left field.

Guo Jia scored China’s first, and only run, for the game in style
with a home run over the head of centre field player Belinda
Wright.

Australia had six hits and made no errors in the field to help
