Monkton, Ont

Following on the heels of an extremely successful inaugural competition,
we
are very anxious to once again host the Easton Home Run Challenge
in
Monkton, as part of the World Fastball Invitational.

On Friday June 29, the games premier long-ball hitters will no
doubt wow the
crowd - as they did last year! , and give their best in hopes
of capturing
the crown and win an Easton bat of their choice for their efforts.
But not only do the participants get a chance to win, but kids
12 and under
have a chance to win $500.00 of Easton products for their team!!!
Kids need
to fill out a ballot (at the Easton tent) before 6:45pm Friday.
We will
draw 9 ballots prior to the competition, and those names drawn
will be
paired up with one the sluggers. (and will wear that players
jersey AND sit
on the bench with the other players watching the event!!) The
player
hitting the most home-runs wins - and so does their "junior slugger"
to whom
they were paired with!!

RULES:
- each team will nominate a player to compete in the competition
- each participant MUST use an Easton bat (either their own,
or one of the
many demo's provided by Easton)
- there will be 2 rounds of competition, with each hitter being
allowed 10
"outs" (an "out" being: any ball hit in fair territory that does
not go
over the outfield home-run fence)
- the top 3 hitters from round 1 will advance to a second round,
and will be
given another 10 "outs" for round 2. ( in the event of a tie,
we will
proceed to a third round of 5 "outs")
- hitters must provide their own pitcher for the competition

Last years event drew a HUGE crowd, and we expect the same this
year!
Arrive to the park early to get a good seat!!

Many thanks to our Easton rep. Jason Phelan, and Easton Sports
for their
sponsorship, promotion, and generosity for this great event!!

World Fastball Invitational
