REVISED - As after reviewing stats a batter did reavch on dropped
third strike, spoiling the perfect game..
 
‘Cleary" the best

SUMMERSIDE - Sean Cleary tossed a complete game, no hitter striking
out 11 in the process as the Kelly’s Pub Canadians of Newfoundland
and Labrador remained in the driver’s seat at 6-0 with a 1-0
win over Simcoe Wildcats (Ont 3) here at the 2007 Causeway Bay
Softball Canada Junior Men’s fast pitch championship.
The only blemish on Cleary’s game was a batter who reached base
in the fourth inning to break up the perfect game.
Bradley Ezekiel (1-2) drove home Mark Lewis (1-3) in the bottom
of the fourth with an RBI single for the game’s only run. Jon
Kane, Gary Bruce and Ryan Boland each also had a hit a piece.
Luke Raymer suffered the loss striking out nine while surrendering
just five hits.
Simcoe falls to 2-4 with the loss.
