BY QUEST FOR GOLD PROGRAM


NORTH YORK, ONTARIO – Softball Ontario Coaches Program is happy
to announce NCCP Level III Technical Softball clinic will take
place on November 2-4, 2007 in Toronto, ON.

The NCCP Level III Technical Softball Clinic covers a variety
of topics from scouting to seasonal planning and mental preparation.
 In order to be eligible to attend the NCCP Level III Technical
Softball clinic, a coach must be fully certified at NCCP Level
2 Softball or “Trained” in Competition-Introduction, Softball
(What to Coach-1st weekend; How to Coach- 2nd weekend and passed
the Make Ethical Decisions on line test).  Completion of the
NCCP Level III Theory component is recommended but it is not
mandatory to attend this clinic.

Softball Ontario must recruit a minimum of twelve (12) participants
by October 26, 2007 in order to host the 2007 clinic, so apply
today!  Softball Ontario will continue to accept applications
after the deadline providing the minimum of twelve (12) participants
have registered.  Details of the clinic include:

Location: Sport Alliance of Ontario Building-North York, ON

Clinic Timelines:  Friday, November 2, 2007 7:00 pm-10:00 pm
                            Saturday, November 3, 2007 9:00 am
– 5:00 pm
                            Sunday, November 4, 2007 9:00 am-
5:00 pm			  

Cost:  $150.00 + $9.00 (GST) = $159.00

In partnership with the Canadian Sport Centre Ontario and the
National Coaching Institute, are pleased to announce a NCCP course
subsidy that will directly benefit coaches wishing to continue
their education and certification in all parts of the province.
 Ontario is putting its best efforts forward to prepare coaches
for the upcoming Canada Games and increasing the number eligible
coaches for the National team opportunities.

Thanks to funding from the Quest for Gold Lottery, which was
established by the Ministry of Health Promotion and the Ontario
Lottery and Gaming Corporation, coaches who wish to complete
their NCCP Level III Technical are eligible to have course fees
offset provided the NCCP course is completed prior to December
