RICHMOND HILL MINOR SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION PARTNER WITH SOFTBALL
ONTARIO AND THE COACHES ASSOCIATION OF ONTARIO TO HOST A LEARN
TO COACH CLINIC


NORTH YORK, ON- Softball Ontario has partnered with the Coaches
Association of Ontario and Richmond Hill Minor Softball Association
to host a FREE National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)
Learn to Coach clinic in Richmond Hill on April 9, 2011 to celebrate
Coaches Week! The Coaches Association of Ontario Coaches Week
is a week long campaign that aims to recruit, develop and celebrate
community coaches around the province. 

What is a NCCP Learn to Coach Softball Clinic?
This six (6) hour workshop has been designed for the community
softball coach who is working with children or youth and is introducing
the basic skills of softball. The focus of this course is: 
Your coaching philosophy 
Making Ethical decisions 
Understanding the rules and equipment of Softball 
Teaching basic skills of Softball 
Modifying a pre-designed practice 

Who is Eligible to attend the Free Learn to Coach Clinic?
This clinic is ideal for softball Coaches who are coaching in
the Province of Ontario:
Learn to Play
T-Ball
5-Pitch
Coach-Pitch
Blastball

What do I need to attend?
Clinic participants should bring the following items with them:
Materials to take notes (pen, pencil, highlighter and paper)
A binder to put the hand out materials
Dress in loose fitting clothing  and be ready to be active
Water to keep hydrated during the clinic
Great attitude and an eagerness to learn

The Clinic will be held at Richvale Community Centre located

Start Time:  8:00 am
End Time:  3:00 pm

There are only 35 spots available for this clinic and spots are
filling up quick!  So register today!

What is the cost for the Learn to the Coach Clinic?
This clinic is FREE!  Thank you to the Coaches Association of
Ontario for providing this funding opportunity to host this Learn
to Coach clinic during Coaches Week!
