_Community Event Kits Available For Your Association’s Registration Events_
TORONTO, ON - Is your Softball Association holding registration dates in the
local mall, arena, or another public venue? Are you looking for ways to
encourage more children to register to play softball in 2012? Softball
Ontario is here to help you! To assist Softball Associations with
increasing registrations in 2012, Softball Ontario is making Community Event
Kits available to Softball Associations across Ontario.
_How do you qualify to receive a Softball Promotional Kit? _
It’s easy! To qualify, make sure your Softball Association is a member of
the Play Softball Network. Qualifying events must be held in a public venue
and you will need to submit an Event Report to Softball Ontario following
your event.
Included in your Softball Promotional Kit are your choice of materials,
including:
* Softball Ontario Tattoos
* Learn to Play Brochures
* Softball Ontario Pencils
* Play Softball Stickers
* Learn to Play Posters
* Softball T-Shirt
* Inflatable Catcher _(must be returned to Softball Ontario)_
* Softball Canada Communications Kit
In exchange, Softball Ontario asks that you provide Event Reports detailing
the following information:
* A description of the event
* How the promotional materials were used
* Was the event successful
* How many registrations did you receive as a result of the event
* What could be done in the future to improve the event
* List any future Events you plan on attending
The Event Report is due to Softball Ontario within one (1) week of each
event. Any unused promotional materials, along with the Inflatable Catcher,
must be returned to Softball Ontario following the event.
Simply complete the Community Event Kit Request Form ([3]available here in
MS Word format) and send it in to the Softball Ontario office a minimum of
one (1) week prior to the event.

_How Can You Promote Your Association's Registration Dates?_
Softball Ontario will list your Softball Association's registation dates on
the [4]Play Softball Events Calendar! Simply email the following
information for each registration date to [5]lcrompton at softballontario.ca:
* _Date_
* _Softball Association_
* _When __(date, time)_
* _Where __(location name & address)_
* _Description __(link to registration form, address to mail form,
information about early-bird registration rates, contact person, web
site, email address, etc)_
