                                                               SEMINOLES EDGE THE HOUNDS/NORTH STARS ROUT THE DOG HOUSE

                                                                                In the Quentin Seeley Remax Fastball League on Thursday night in Garson , two games were played . In the opener , the First Nation Seminoles edged the Hounds 10-8 to hold on to second place . Both teams scored 5 runs in the opening inning .Bill Homer opened for the Seminoles and was replaced by Percy Tobobundung and Jomathan Contin .All three combined to give up 8 runs (7 earned) while John Ainsley went all the way for the Hounds giving up 10 runs (4 unearned) .Ed Panamick Jr,Rick Jason and Jonathan Contin all hit 2 for 4  for the Seminoles while Eric Legendre hit 2 for 3 in a losing cause for the Hounds.
        In the nightcap , the North Stars continued their winning ways with sophomore Mike Greslow pitching a 3 hit 11-0 rout of the last place Dog House . Greslow helped his own cause going 2 for 2 with teammate Joel Belanger going 2 for 3 .Play resumes tonight in Azilda with the Hounds taking on the North Stars at 7 PM followed by a nightcap under the lights at 9 PM when the Dog Hose clash with the Seminoles .

        A]   Toppers offensive player of the week (June 25th to 28th) Rick Jason of Seminoles ; Toppers defensive player of the week is Mike Greslow of the North Stars
        B] Pro Am Sportswear sportsmanlike players of the week are Ed Panamick Jr of the Seminoles and Paul LIzotte of the Hounds
        C] The King Sportwear play of the week is given to Mike Greslow’s 10 k’s from the North Stars
