For the third time in four years, PBI of West St. Paul, Minnesota has won the Rice Lake Invitational. PBI won the event in 2002 and 2003 and returned to the winners stand this year with a 5-0 record.
PBI defeated ISC II #18 ASB-Villard of St. Paul, Minnesota 7-3 in the winner’s bracket final Sunday, then dispatched Villard again for the title, 7-0 in 5 innings.

Scores from Saturday nite were to be posted Saturday nite or Sunday morning but the internet connection at the hotel went bad.
