2005 Laverne Reichert Memorial ISC II Ontario Challenge Cup

Here is the schedule for the first round games of the 2005 Laverne Reichert Memorial ISC II Ontario Challenge Cup to be held in Hillsburgh, Ontario (with a big assist from Rockwood.)

Game 1 Owen Sound Crunch vs Jarvis Rock 9:00 pm at Rockwood (Rockmosa)
Game 2 Hamilton Hawks vs Breslau Majors 7:00 pm at Rockwood (Lloyd Dyer)
Game 3 Mitchell Mets vs Kingston Cowboys 9:00 pm at Hillsburgh (Victoria Park)
Game 4 Toronto Champion Indians vs Minesing Monarchs 9:00 pm at Hillsburgh (Barbour Field)
Game 5 Orangeville Resolve Kings vs Elora Rage 7:00 pm at Hillsburgh (Victoria Park)
Game 6 Blenheim HomeRun vs Salford Storm 9:00 pm at Rockwood (Lloyd Dyer)
Game 7 Hillsburgh Stallions vs Kitchener Phoenix Outlaws 7:00 pm at Hillsburgh (Barbour Field)
Game 8 Niagara Snappers vs Rockwood 7:00 pm at Rockwood (Rockmosa)

This will be a 16-team double knockout tournament. All games on Saturday and Sunday will be in Hillsburgh.

Directions:
Hillsburgh – located north of Georgetown
To get to Hillsburgh for most teams, exit Highway 401 at Trafalgar Road and follow it north through Georgetown and it will run right into Hillsburgh where it becomes Main Street.

Hillsburgh Parks
Barbour Field
Nearest Intersection:
8th Line and 22nd Sideroad
Turn right off Main Street onto 22nd Sideroad at the top of the hill coming into town. Park will be down 22nd on your left.

Victoria Park:
Nearest Intersection:
Mill Street and Anne Street
Turn right off Main Stret onto Mill Street in the middle of town. The park will be down Mill Street on your left.

Rockwood – located on Highway 7 between Acton and Guelph.

For teams that are located in Toronto and east, exit Highway 401 at Hwy 25 in Milton and proceed north to Acton. Turn left onto Highway 7 and follow Hwy 7 into Rockwood.

For teams that are west of Toronto, exit Highway 401 at Guelph Line in Campbellville and go north, straight up Guelph Line before turning right on Highway 7 and follow it into Rockwood.

From the north, get onto Hwy #24 south of Orangeville however you’d like. Travel south on #24 until lights at BRUCEDALE (not too far south of Erin – there’s a Petro Canada on the corner). Turn left onto County Road #27 and follow it into Rockwood where it becomes Main Street. For Rockmosa, turn right into the park just before the tracks. For Lloyd Dyer, turn right at the lights at Main & Alma, then left onto Inkerman.

Rockmosa Park
From Toronto and east, Highway 7 turns into Main Street in Rockwood. Stay on Main Street and continue north over the railroad tracks and the entrance to Rockmosa Park will be on your left.

From the west, Highway 7 is also Alma Street. Follow Alma and then turn left onto Main Street and continue north over the railroad tracks and the entrance to Rockmosa Park will be on your left.

Lloyd Dyer Diamond
From Toronto and east, Highway 7 turns into Main Street in Rockwood. Stay on Main Street and continue north to Alma Street (which is Hwy 7 west). Turn left on Inkerman Street and the park is at the bottom of Inkerman and Balaclava Street.

From the west, Highway 7 is also Alma Street. Follow Alma and then turn right on Inkerman Street and the park is at the bottom of Inkerman and Balaclava Street.
