WATERLOO, ON
The fifth annual May 2-4 Blast Fastball Tournament is
underway at Hillside Park in Waterloo, Ontario presented by the Waterloo
Ontario Fastball Association.
A total of 17 teams – 12 intermediate teams in three divisions and five
teams in the masters division – are competing in this early
tournament. Round Robin play will finish on Saturday and playoffs
and championship games will be held on Sunday. The weekend schedule
is available here along with standings and
scores.

Intermediate Division
Waterloo Hallman Junior Twins – 2
Elmira Advance Millwrights – 1
Winning pitcher, Andrew Putnam was perfect through six innings before giving up a run in the top of the 7th leading the Twins to a 2-1 win over Elmira.
Masters Division

Intermediate Division
ISC II #4 Norwich Razorbacks – 7
Elmira Advance Millwrights – 5
With the game tied after 7 innings the International Tiebreaker went into effect. Norwich scored 2 runs in the 9th inning on a homer.
