FRANKENMUTH — The Frankenmuth Driving School fastpitch softball team will host the International Softball Congress Under-19 Tournament this weekend at Heritage Park in Frankenmuth.
“This is called a developmental tourney,” said Tom Stasik, sponsor of Frankenmuth Driving School and ISC Michigan Area Commissioner . “We’re trying to get boys interested in playing fastpitch at a younger age.”
Joining Frankenmuth Driving School will be local teams Up To Date Log Homes of Frankenmuth, Don’s Developmental of Richville and Munger Fastpitch. The other four teams — the Tavistock Athletics,
Moraviantown Midget Boys, Straffordville Selects and Alvinston Indians — all hail from Ontario, Canada.
