Three men’s fastpitch players from the Yakima City League were named to the all-tournament team at the North American Fastpitch Association Masters World Series this past weekend.
Outfielders Tim Fischer (JRW & Associates) and Bobby Harris (Action Towing) both batted over .400 for the Cal Storm team that won the 45-and-over class. Fischer had six doubles while Harris drove in nine runs for Cal Storm, which was managed by Matt Barnes of JRW & Associates.
Tom Magers, also from JRW, played for the Seattle FP team that finished second in the 50-and-over class. Magers batted .400 and hit two home runs.

YAKIMA, Wash. — Three members of the JRW & Associates team were named to the All-World first team in the 45-and-over division after their play in the North American Fastpitch Association Masters World Series this past weekend in Carson City, Nevada.
Catcher Troy Grow, second baseman Jake Andreas, and pitcher Sam Aldridge were all honored after playing on the Linder, British Columbia, team that eventually lost 9-8 in the championship game Sunday.In the tournament, Grow hit .500 with seven RBI, Andreas hit .533 with six RBI, and Aldridge went 2-2 with 24 strikeouts and a 2.51 earned-run average.
JRW sponsor-manager Jim Williamson coached the Linder team.
