From Vanessa Woodmansee:
Hello Friends of MFP Softball,
First of all I would like to wish all managers and their families a Happy 4th of July. Hope you are all enjoying this special day of Independence.
Secondly, I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we worked to get this tournament together. We could not have done it without your participation. After a couple of weeks of who’s in and who’s not we have finally put together a schedule for the 2012 Men’s Class “Open” and Class “C” Fastpitch ASA/ISC California Cup tournament.
We have registered 3 teams in the “open” and 4 teams in the “C” divisions. All games will be played at the Salinas Sports Complex, 1160 North Main Street, Salinas CA. A gate fee is charged for all spectators and Complex special rules are noted on the schedule.
If you have any questions or are in need of further information please do not hesitate to contact any one of the following tournament directors:
Vanessa Woodmansee (510) 703-8352
Dave Weldin (661) 472-1716
Ron Guzman (831) 676-9026Safe travels and good luck to all teams!
Thank you,
Vanessa Woodmansee

one correction……the losing pitcher in the semi final game was Travis Price. He relieved Sebastian Gervasutti in the 7th inning after the Cal A’s had tied it in the 6th.
BTW….The 8AM game never happened. The Cal St Builders were the only team to play 4 games and were able to throw out their worst game for the seedings. That is how they got the #1 seed despite the lopsided result to the Cal A’s.
