The NAFA “A” World Series will be held August 16-19, 2012 at Topeka Kansas, with 34 teams competing.
The Editor’s team, for those interested, is Balboa Fastpitch of Southern California. Our first game is Thursday, August 16 at 4pm against Smalltown Fastpitch, from Michigan.
NAFA is celebrating their 20th anniversary of World Series competition this year, with lots of extra festivities planned. NAFA was started by Pat Bucknell and Jim Williamson in the Pacific Northwest, “for and by” fastpitch people. Its popularity spread quickly and is one of the largest fastpitch tournaments in the world.
