Hi John,
Thanks for being a supporter of the Guide and for enabling us to address this concern. A couple of issues have driven the price increase of the past couple of years. The cost of physically printing the Guide has increased significantly. For small press runs like ours, it is very expensive to set up and print only a few hundred copies. Production and shipping costs have gone up, too. Also, we made a decision a couple of years back to redesignate the “subsidy” we were providing to the print version and shifted that money to provide fans and players with the enhanced digital edition which is available through the ISC website.
Best regards,
Blair Setford

Hi John, I found out rather shockingly how expensive printing is when I started pricing for my book “We Play It Fast.”
I wanted to use color photos instead of black and white. But unless I was willing to surrender a good chunk of my retirement funds, it was just not feasible. And actually, $25 isn’t a high price when you consider the tremendous amount of information and photos packed into the Guide.
