The Larry H. Miller Memorial Pioneer Days Fast Pitch Sofball Tournament is under way at the Larry H. Miller Softball Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tournament runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday with teams from California, Idaho, Colorado and Utah. Admission to the tournament is free. The results of the first two games are as follows:

Editor’s Note: Lacey A’s pitcher Brady Woods was taken by ambulance and hospitalized after the championship game concluded, with what appeared to heatstroke or something similar. We will attempt to get an update when it becomes available. Woods pitched in of his team’s games on Sunday. Temperatures were running in the high 80s, and very warm weekend.
