The event will be played at the Durk Sherman Memorial Complex on Saturday and Sunday. There will be six to eight games Saturday, starting at 8 a.m. Another six to eight games will be played Sunday.
Admission is $5, with free admission for children under 12.
The tournament is sponsored by the N.Y. Gremlins and the Pennsylvania Power.
The Gremlins, from Clifton Park, finished first in the final 2013 International Softball Congress rankings.
Other teams scheduled to compete are the second-ranked Hallman Twins of Jarvis, Ontario; the fourth-ranked Pennsylvania Power of Harrisburg; and the 10th-ranked Circle Tap Dukes of Kimberly, Wis. The ESA Thunderbellies and Bar on the Avenue, from Appleton, Wis., are also in the field.
Players in the tournament hail from all over the world, including the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
