The RiverDogs, who play in the Treasure Valley Men’s Fastpitch League through Boise Parks and Recreation, were a perfect 4-0 in the tournament, winning the four games by a combined score of 28-4.
Shane Alder, who is the softball coach at Capital High, was the tournament MVP after posting a 0.50 ERA. Former Borah High and College of Idaho baseball standout Dane McGrady was the tournament’s home-run leader and joined Alder on the ASA All-American Team.
Fellow former Coyote baseball player Cody Brubaker and Jamie Kubena, a school administrator in the Boise School District, were also selected for the All-American Team.
The team was coached by ASA Hall of Famer Greg Alder.
