KITCHENER, ONT. — By the time the Hill United Chiefs from Six Nations Ontario play their next game in the International Softball Congress (ISC) World Tournament in Kitchener, Ontario Thursday night they will be one of only four teams still in the undefeated column.
The Chiefs, whose team includes outfielder Jeff Ellsworth from Brooklyn and pitcher Mitch Hardy from Alberton, P.E.I., climbed to 3-0 in the standings with a 7-0 win over the previously undefeated Circle Tap team from Denmark, Wisconsin Tuesday night.
The Chiefs don’t return to action until Thursday at 7:30 P.M. (ADT) when they face the Scarborough, Ontario Force. The Force scored a big 6-2 win over the Toronto Gators in the final game of the day Tuesday. Click to continue reading at The Journal Pioneer.
