The California A’s will play for their survival today, as they try to advance to the final day of the 8 day ISC World Tournament at Kitchener Ontario. After suffering their first loss in the double elimination event last night to PA Power and their dominanting Venezuelan pitcher, Ramon Jones, they will wait for the winner of the 12 noon EDT game between # 3 Kitchener Hallman TWins and the # 11 New York Swashbucklers, for a chance to make it to the Final Four on Saturday.
The A’s won their first three games in a row, including a huge upset win over the # 2 ranked team in the world, the New York Gremlins on Wednesday night, before being stymied on one hit by PA Power’s Ramon Jones. By the time they take the field today, the A’s will be among only 6 teams still standing from the original field of 48.
The A’s game Friday will be at 4pm EDT (1pm on the west coast), and will be live video streamed on the ISC Network. Live Broadcast on ISC Network
