Team Canada awoke from their offensive slumber to knock out 19 hits enroute to back-to-back wins against the USA and defending gold medal champions, when will play on Saturday for their first medal since 2008 when they won silver in Whitehorse Yukon Canada.
Canada will face last year’s silver medalist the New Zealand Black Sox, who fell to Japan 3-0.
Japan has medaled in the last 5 Junior men’s World Championships but has not won the gold medal since the inaugural tournament in 1981.
