Quintin Bruce hit two more home runs for the Bear Creek Express, but the Express fell to the Toronto Batmen 6-5. The Batmen jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first on a home run by Dennis Benson. Bear Creek tied it with three of their own in the 3rd on a triple by Ty Paulie and 2 run homer by Quintin Bruce.
Bear Creek extended their lead to 5-3 with single runs in the fourth and fifth inning, but the Batmen rallied. The Batmen scored one in the 5th and 2 more in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead for good.
Tyler Randerson picked up the win for the Toronto squad, allowing just one hit and one run in 3 2/3 innings pitched, striking out six and walking none. Kirk Santala took the loss for Bear Creek.
Derek Hyde, Dennis Benson and Cody Skelton each collected two hits for the Toronto Batmen. Ty Sebastian paced the Batmen with three walks on the day, with the Batmen accumulating six walks in the game.
