Does anyone out there have this list for Washington?
Mike:
If you are requesting to have this list forwarded to Washington then we can do that. If you’re wondering if your Dad is on any list in this area, the answer is no. It’s our understanding that there will be a National Pitcher’s list coming out soon to control those areas like Arizona,Texas and New Mexico . Utah has resolved their issue hopefully, by appointing a new Commissioner.
Why would a “C’ team be rated as a “B” team? Both our pictures are rated “C’ and are in their 50’s. We were “C” team when we played in the “B” Nationals in Prescott. The only reason we played in that tournament is because it was close to home. We were 1-2 and both losses we were run ruled. Please take San Diego Primetime off the “B” list. Actually San Diego Primetime does not exist anymore. We have started a new team called the Renegades with the same two pitchers. Good luck to everyone this season!
With all due respect, being from Washington….If Stan Grebeck is considered B then WTH? Drotz is for sure A!!! Either drop Stan or move Drotz up. My take on the only 2 WA/OR pitchers on this list. Mike…no one gives a rip around here…it’s all open anymore.
Hello Mitch.
In answer to your questions; the reason you were placed on the “C” list is exactly why you remarked. “We played in the “B” Nationals in Prescott”. By ASA book rule, that put you on the “B” list. How many times have teams played where it was the easiest or least expensive to play. If over four of your original players from that team in Prescott are still with the new team then the new team will also be rated “B” until you appeal to our Classification Committee.
If you want the Renegades to be rated “C” under the ASA ruling then please e-mail your request with your reasons to be re rated. The next Classification meeting is May 31st. Since no ASA member in your area is very active in fastpitch send your appeal direct up to to me and I’ll present it at the meeting for you. It would be best to send a copy of your current roster to review. Best of luck in the upcoming Season.
Terry Horner
Commissioner, Nor Cal State
