Hitmen ready to host Intermediate tournament

KINKORA - Four Prince Edward Island fast pitch teams and one from New 
Brunswick will battle it out at the Kinkora Invitational Intermediate fast 
pitch tournament this weekend at Duffy Field in Kinkora, hosted by the 
O'Shea's Pub and Eatery Hitmen at Duffy Field in Kinkora.

One of the Island teams, the Summerside Greco/Source for Sports Midget 
Twins, are chomping at the bit as they look to show what theya re made of 
and win it all against players, who some, are 10 year their senior.

Teams that will be participating include Pal's Sports Bar of Charlottetown, 
the Summerside Greco/Source for Sports Midget Twins, the host O'Shea's Pub 
and Eatery Hitmen, Hoyt Schooners of Fredericton, N.B. and Prodigy Sports 
of Summerside.

It will be the first huge tournament the Midget Twins have participated in, 
although they ahve had three practices as well as one exhibition games as 
they tune up for the 2004 Consolidated Credit Union Canadian Midget Boys 
Fast pitch midget nationals, where they will be the Island's second 
representative along with host Moase Plumbing and Heating Midgets.

The Hitmen (8-0) and the Moase Midgets (0-11) play in the Source for Sports 
Men's Fast Pitch league that features teams from kensington to St. Louis. 
Kinkora also plays out of the Coca Cola Major Fastball League, where they 
sit last at 2-14.

Organizer Pat McIver is looking forward to a great weekend of ball and 
encourages fan to come out and enjoy some of P.E.I. and New Brunswick's top 
ball players in Kinkora this weekend.

SUN 12PM KINKORA HITMEN VS PALS
SUN 2PM SEMI 2ND VS 3RD
SUN 4PM FINAL 1ST VS WINNER OF SEMI

(NOTE: one team, PALS, will play four games due to one team dropping out. 
PALS will decide before their first game which game won't count for them at 
the tourney).
